Carlton is a dedicated Financial Advisor and an independent business owner who believes objective advice and meaningful, personal relationships are the foundation of a successful advisory experience.

As Managing Partner of Morse Wealth Management, Carlton serves as our clients’ main point of contact for investment planning and asset management services. He understands that every family’s financial objectives are different and pays careful attention to their unique goals and aspirations. Through intelligent strategies and diligent planning, Carlton will customize your portfolio to responsibly address the financial life you desire.

An active community member, Carlton serves as a Board Member for the Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation (Mtrp.org). He also greatly enjoys spending family time with his wife and son.

  • Began his career as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in 1992, where he earned the designations of Senior Financial Consultant and Certified Financial Manager.
  • Moved to Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 1998, subsequently becoming Vice President – Wealth Management and attaining the Financial Planning Specialist title.
  • Joined Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network in 2008, forming Morse Wealth Management as an independent practice.
  • Is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certificant[1].
  • Holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® professional designation[2].
  • Holds his Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities registrations, and California insurance license number 0B16353.
  • Earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a minor in International Relations.
  • Earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from San Diego State University Graduate School of Business.
  • Completed the IMCA Certified Investment Management Analyst Program at the Haas Graduate School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
